FATALITY FEST is looking for you!
In correlation with our inaugural celebration, Fatality Fest is proud to introduce the very first FATALITY FEAR FEST at our West Palm Beach show June 7th-9th, 2013! Up and coming filmmakers with short films/projects (20 minutes or less in length) are invited to submit their work for consideration. All submissions will be judged by famed director/producer/screenwriter/actor SCOTT SPIEGEL! The winner will then be chosen by an audience vote at the convention.

How the Competition Works
Filmmakers are invited to submit by:
1. Paying for your entry using the ticket form below.
2. Filling out the entry form in its entirety.
Filmmakers must send their film electronically for the initial judging period. Links can be provided on the entry form. If a file must be sent, please email Andrea for instructions.
Your entry confirmation is sent electronically from ADA Management Group through EVENTBRITE.
If the filmmaker is announced as one of the finalists, they must then provide a DVD for showing at the convention.
Five finalists will be chosen and announced on May 15th, 2013 and have their films shown at Fatality Fest on Sunday, June 9th. An audience will then vote for the winner, who will be presented a prize package by Scott himself. This film will then be showcased on the Fatality Fest website, which receives over 1,000 unique hits per day.
Why should I enter this competition?
Fatality Fear Fest is a fun, exciting way to introduce your short film to the world. Not only will you get exposure to fans of the horror and science fiction genre, but you will also have the opportunity to showcase your film to a group of industry professionals. Not every filmmaking competition can offer that.
It's also only $25 to enter until April 20th! $35 after the early entry period. Most comparable entries are $50 or more depending on the venue. Being that up and coming filmmakers must squeeze every penny for production and promotion, this is one of the most cost effective ways to spread the word about your craft.
The Rules
Every competition has rules- and Fatality Fear Fest is no exception.
Filmmakers must not be deemed 'professional'- all filmmakers must be up and coming, unrepresented individuals who are simply seeking the exposure and notoriety they need to get to the next level. No one represented by ADA Management Group or family of an ADA Management Group staff member can enter. Sorry, guys.
Filmmakers must be age 18 or over. Or at least have a very cool parent willing to give you permission to enter. Their info must be on the form.
All submissions must be complete at the time of entry. Incomplete submissions will not be finalized or considered. Entries must be received by the submission deadline- any submissions received afterward will not be considered.
The film must be, as stated before, a short of 20 minutes or less. The content must be horror or science fiction in nature. Sorry, no rom-coms, comedies, or anything happy-go-lucky.
All decisions made by the judges and audience are final. No re-counts. This might be Florida, but we're much more organized than those damn politicians.
